I also tried to erase the data with Disk Utility but it didn’t work.

I followed the official instruction below very precisely for many times and didn’t work.

1 Make sure the iPod Classic isn’t simply paused or locked. Check the screen for a lock symbol. If you see a lock, unlock the Hold switch. You should be back in business.

2 Put the iPod on a flat surface to stabilize it. Slide the Hold switch on, then slide it off.

3 Hold down Select and Menu together for several seconds with two fingers. Make sure your finger isn’t touching the Click Wheel. When the Apple logo appears, release Select and Menu.

Okay I have itouc and I jailbreak it and I have some awesome sounds like ringtones and keyboard clicks and stuff. Well how do I somehow export or copy those songs (either through ifile or files haring with a download app) onto the computer then plug phone into computer and copy the sounds onto my phone? And would it work? Basically I want to get sounds and ringtones from my itouch to my phone: how do I do that? And/or is there a good website to download cool sounds and ringtones for the phone?

Why not just jailbreak the phone and download the ringtones from cydia? If you don’t want to do that, the ringtones are located in /library/ringtones. You can email yourself (or SSH or use Total Commander) the files from there, but the iPhone will probably still need to be jailbroken to put them in the right place.

2. Beautiful or hot? Beautiful. I would rather a guy call me that and honestly I would rather be seen as that rather than hot. It has more class and hot is usually just a code name for slutty.

3. Swag or walk? Walk. Because swag is retarded. I don’t care for it, don’t want to be known for it. Walking does me just fine.

Question: My Ipod 3rd generation (nano) is frozen?

I have an ipod 3rd generation (nano). This morning it suddenly went to a gray screen that said "Do not disconnect." With a check mark over it, it stayed frozen on that screen, even after I locked and unlocked it a few times. When I got home I went to charge it and the screen still had the check mark, but said, "Ok to disconnect." It was still frozen though. I let it charge and it still is frozen. I looked up answers on the apple website, but couldn’t find anything. Any suggestions?

Question: Ipod 4g update (software 4.2.1 won’t update to the latest version)?

My ipod 4g software won’t update to the latest version. I currently have 4.2.1 and my Itunes is 10.5.3.3. Anyone know how I can fix this? It keeps giving me some network connection issue but I’m certain it’s an issue with the software and not me. Thanks for your help!!!!!!
