Today I was taking my Ipod Touch out of it’s case.
As I was taking it off, it fell and it hit the top of my foot. Probably a 4 foot fall.
Then after it hit my foot, it fell onto the carpet.
I can’t see any physical damage on my Ipod.
Could there be anything wrong with the internal components of my Ipod?

So I got my IPod for Christmas and I had it in my backpack so I could listen to music on the walk to school. Well on my walk home I walked with friends and I forgot it was in there and it was raining. So it got a little wet. Well, I went home, dried it and it worked PERFECTLY fine. The music played well, the screen worked and everything. Well about two hours later I was listening to music and the volume started going up and down randomly. Me being into paranormal stuff thought it was ghosts controlling it. Lol. But then when I fell asleep and woke up the next morning I went to look at the time on it since my phone was on the ground, and it didn’t work. The screen would not turn on .The audio still worked because I heard my Facebook notifications go off, but my screen just didn’t turn on! I think it has something to do with the water. Is there anyway I can fix it or do I have to go back to Target and have them fix/replace it.?

The water didn’t affect up front because the water has not gotten through yet,so a couple hours later it got through and started effecting it.So what has happened is probably permanent damage.So if you still have a warranty you’ll probably need to use it.Sorry any ways.

Well it’s simple when it rained the water got inside but when you dry it out it actually got the some water inside parts that will not actually dry. 2 things to do. 1)check the guarantee, go to the appla store and get another one. 2)**dont try to do this unless you know or you know a professional. Ok be careful, try opening the iPod and let the screen to dry.

First of all, download and install itunes and a software called diskaid (free version) on your computer. Plug in your ipod to your computer and follow the instructions on diskaid. This will transfer the songs onto your computer. Then i recommend to use very small needle nose pliers or tweezers to dislodge the headphone jack. If this does not work try removing the back of your ipod (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPyN9yLEH9o) to remove the jack. This will require you to buy a product like the one shown in the video.
