How did you lock yourself out of your own iPod? Surely you know the code…
It should eventually be available for you to type the code in again. I think it goes up in increments. The first lockout is 1 minute, then 5, then 15, etc.
So eventually it should allow you to input the code. If not, go onto iTunes and do as stated in the answer above.

I have an ipod touch 4g running 5.0.1. If i jailbreak it using Redsnow, will all my apps dissapear?
For example if i have Cut the Rope before i jailbreak, after the jailbreak, will i still have it on my device?
I want to know this because i have ALOT of apps (64gbs full of apps

Don’t use redsnow. You have to re-jailbreak it every time. To answer your question, no… In theory. But you DO need to downgrade your iPod to jailbreak it, which will make you lose them.

So I have an iPod 2nd gen with 3.1.3. Software installed. I would really like to jailbreak it but I have no computer to do it from so I want to jailbreak it right from my iPod device. Hi there.
I bought my iPod back in 2010 as a graduation gift to myself. Last night before I went to bed, I plugged in my iPod to charge for the night. The next morning when I went to grab it, it wasn’t charged. I’d only get the apple on the screen and then it’d shut off. After I messed with it for a bit, the screen eventually showed the iPod charging cord being arrowed towards an iTunes cd.
What does this mean? Is there something wrong with my iPod? Ever since I’ve had it, I’ve never seen this before. Does it require some sort of update in some way or is it having technical issues? All answers are appreciated and the best, most informative answer gets 10 points. Thank-you!
