iPod Touch Tricks: i was wondering could i get an unlimited data plan with out talk or text?
i have a smart phone and i want to use it like a android version of the ipod touch yet i am still willing to pay a data fee but if there is a way of not useing a data plan that would be great!!!

it says i have a new notification and when i click on the icon, it only shows the notifications i had last week:( i tried on my laptop, phone and ipod and is still the same. as many times as i refresh it it wont let meee:( any idea how to get it to normal? help needed!

iPod Touch Tricks: What should I buy?!?!?!?!?!?!?
So my family is not wealthy in any way shape or form. But im a really down to earth girl, so I always try and think of the positive. Anyways, we recently came into a good chunk of money. Nothing like a million dollars, just something to have fun with, good news, finally. And I know my mom wants to spoil me and my brother really well, because we haven’t had something really really good in a while happen, and she thinks we deserve everything, lol. Anyways, so I told my mom all I want is an ipod touch, and an outfit or two. she said she wants me to spend more, and she wont take no for an answer. so i said put it in my college fund, savings bond, anything really. and she said she already did all of that. so i said please please please give as much money as we can to Charity, i don’t even want clothes if i can give that money to charity, because like i said, i don’t need everything, and there are lots of people that needs simple things that i have so charity is a must. so she said that its amazing that a young girl like me wants to do that, because a lot of girls would want to buy everything for themselves because if they had your life so far they would think they had deserved it. anyways, so she said she will give a lot of it to different Charity’s that i choose. so i did and im really glad i did. but she wants to buy me something more because she says i didn’t have to give anything to charity but i chose to. so i told her no thanks, like a million times but she keeps saying that she wants to buy me something big. so after that long story (sorry) my question is what should i buy that’s big, i cant think of anything. i have a laptop, the school gave it to me, i already have a hair Straightener, its not the best, but it does what i need it to. i don’t need anything for my room really, maybe a rug or a lamp or something, so i cant think of anything. i don’t wear jewelry that much, so please help me pick something! thank you! Ive always wanted a puppy, but I understand how that might not work out.
If it was me, I would buy something like a bangle ive had my eye on for a while. I got my parents to engrave it and give it to me for my birthday, I loved it. It was a tiffany’s one so that would compensate for the large amount of money.
Apart from that, Id probably travel or buy something designer that I wouldn’t normally be able to afford. Some heels or a great bag or coat.

iPod Touch Tricks: why does my itunes not alow me 10 pts?
this ipod cant be used becuase the apple moblie device service isnt started

You need to activate the service manually if it doesn’t start with windows.
Windows xp: start > control panel > administrative tools > services
Windows vista/7: start > type "services" (no quote marks) > click services
In services choose apple mobile device on the right and click start on the left
If you double click it in the list you can change the startup type from manual to automatic so it will start with windows in future

iPod Touch Tricks: How to remove an iPhone from iCloud?
I currently have my iPod touch, my MacBook air and my dads iPhone on my iCloud. But I am getting and iPhone soon so I wanted to take off my dads iPhone because I don’t want to have all of his contacts on my phone
Any one know how to do this?

Take his phone go to settings than icloud and either remove the email for icloud or turn of the contacts if you want to keep everything else he has. Hope that helps.

You can always tell him to get his own iCloud account. Just go to

and make your own Apple ID

As long as all three/four devices are on the SAME account this will be a problem, until you either remove the device you do not want using the iCloud and create it’s own separate account for it’s own iCloud account. Short and simple.
So if did does not know how to create an account, set it up for him and show him how to use it.
